Last year at this time, the park where Lani and I walk looked like the picture in the header of this blog. Cooler temperatures and a dry winter have delayed the wild flowers this year and they are just beginning to bloom a little. However, there are some flowering trees that are just beautiful. What a lovely photo. The color of the tree trunk against the green is wonderful.
Take a roadie down toward Goliad.
The roadsides are a riot of blue, yellow, and pink. the red is a little slower, it seems.
It's so nice to see blooms...I'm still a long way from seeing any here yet.
