This is one of the funniest things I have ever read.

My friend's dog ate the kitchen floor...
He ate all the linoleum off of his kitchen floor...

Oh, my. Just -- oh, my.

My wolf in her adolescence was particularly fond of handmade needlepoint pillows, including the stuffing, and also had a thing for antique mahogany tables, hold the marble top.

A vet once told me that a canine's "vomit center" is the largest part of its brain. This is doubtless a good thing.

Aw man, that was funny! Dogs are the best, but boy they can be pigs sometimes. LMAO!

I didn't know that about the vomit center. Hmmmm.

It is a lot of fun reading about what dogs hae been known to ingest. The worst things Lani has eaten so far hae been my shoes and a copy of The Five People You Meet In Heaven that Stephen left at mouth level for her. She will chew up any available paper products if we leave and she really wants to go with us and doesn't get to. We have started loadingn up her Kong with peanut butter and some dog buscuits so she will be preoccupied for a while. Works like a charm so far.

What a hoot! Some day I'll have to blog the story of my cat the the Christmas tree "icicles." Not a pretty sight.

Thanks for dropping by my site and for leaving such an insightful comment. Much appreciated!

That's one of the funniest dog stories I've ever heard!(and very well told.
My family has had several dogs with eating disorders- that is, anything that falls on the floor, or can be reached, is fair game. My sister thought she had picked up all of some spilled sudafed. Apparently not- when they got home from work, the dog was staring into the corner. They checked with the vet and determined that he probably didn't eat a dangerous!!?? amount. They had a hard time getting to sleep because the dog stared fixedly at THEM, ALL night! He didn't sleep at all.
