It's true. We all get by with a little help from our friends.

I also try to focus on the random acts of kindness and to perform them because in the end, those make up the superstructure that holds a life together, not the inevitable unpleasant things that happen to everyone.

Thank you for the always-timely reminder.

Definitely. And when I am making a point to notice the kindnesses, they are absolutely everywhere, which leads me to be friendlier myself.

This is a good reminder. It is those little kindnesses that keep us from just going nuts on each other.

This reminds me of a time when I lost my Grandfather. On the way home from his funeral I sat down in the airport bathroom and began to cry. A woman I didn't know sat down next to me and said, "I don't know why you're crying, but let me give you hug anyway."

Those little kindnesses make me and others feel good and optimistic about the world. Drivers seem much more courteous there than here.

I am focusing on focusing on the positive things, it's my mantra for this year ~ it's too easy to give my energy to negativity and it limits my life - thanks for the reminder!
