Bluebonnets. I've heard of them, never seen them. And they grow only in Texas, you say.It must be because yellow roses persist in growing in other places.
Blue lupines grow in other places, too, but only in Texas are they called bluebonnets. I have not seen sprauling fields of them any where else.
Lupines grow nearly everywhere, even in Northern Maine. I love them. I thought maybe this was a different variety.Bluebonnet is a charming name for them.
I think they are a different vairety. They are not quite as big as the lupine I have seen other places and they only come in blue.
